Thoughtful Theatre will be looking for a Children’s English Musical Theatre Instructor (Project Base) to teach junior and primary students, mainly on Mondays/Tuesdays.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
．Designing and curating theatre programmes, leading students in the production of 10-15 minute mini-musical theatre performances.
．Instructing students to explore body, voice, space, and the use of various forms of theatre expression.
．Teach basic acting, singing, and dancing skills.
．Write scripts and direct performances.
．Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students’ participation and collaboration.
Requirements:
．Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field.
．Experience in teaching drama and theatre to children is highly desirable.
．Demonstrated passion for performing arts and a strong understanding of child development principles.
．Creative and dynamic teaching style with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
．Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
．Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
